Prairie landscape
The Manitoba prairie is a landscape of space: long horizons, enormous skies, and light that changes by the hour. I come back to the same roads, field edges, and river banks through every season, because the place is never the same twice. A foggy October morning, a hoarfrost-covered woodlot in January, and a burning sky over stubble fields in September can all be found within a few kilometres of each other.
These photographs are organized by the kind of day they came from rather than by place. Pick a category below to start.
