Close-ups and details

Some of my favourite photographs are small ones. A dewdrop on a leaf, a dried seed head, or a patch of peeling paint can hold a whole afternoon.

In black and white, texture and shape come first. Without colour to lean on, the eye follows edges, tone, and the tiny patterns most people walk past.

This collection gathers flowers, seed heads, water drops, frost, and weathered surfaces, all photographed up close.
