Privacy

This page explains what information this site collects, why, and what happens to it. I keep it short and plain, because I only collect what a small photography site needs. Last updated October 19, 2026.

What I collect

  • Contact form. If you write to me through the contact form, I receive the details you type in, such as your name, email address, and message. I use them only to reply to you.
  • Analytics. I use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where in the world they are. It uses cookies and collects information such as your browser, device, and approximate location. It does not tell me who you are.
  • Spam protection. The site uses CleanTalk to block spam and bots. It checks form submissions and sets a cookie to tell people from bots, so some form data is sent to CleanTalk for that check.
  • Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which can see your IP address.
  • Share buttons. Share buttons load on some pages, and they may set their own cookies if you use them.

What I do with it

I use this information to reply to messages, to understand which photos and pages people enjoy, and to keep spam off the site. I do not sell or rent your information, and I do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This site uses them for analytics and spam protection, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

How long I keep it

Messages you send stay in my email until I no longer need them, and I will delete them if you ask. Analytics data is kept by Google for the period set in my Analytics account.

Your choices

You can ask me what information I have from you, or ask me to delete it, by emailing casey@sisterson.ca.

Changes to this page

If I change how the site handles information, I will update this page and the date at the top.
