Marsh wren

The marsh wren is a tiny, energetic songbird of cattail marshes, with a rusty back, a white-striped black triangle between the shoulders, and a tail it often cocks straight up.
Males sing a rattling, bubbling song from the tops of cattails, and they build several domed nests of woven reeds in the marsh.
There is so much attitude packed into a marsh wren, with its tail cocked high and its song rattling out of the cattails.
